Changing the Rule of Law

In the Declaration of Independence, paragraph two, it is stated the sole purpose of government is to secure our rights; when you support those that subvert the Constitution you’re supporting the destruction of them.

“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.— That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, —. . .”

When you support the subversion of the law in America you’re attacking yourself and allowing liars and thieves to plunder you, your family, and your community.

Every legislator that votes for legislation not permitted by the Constitution violates the oath of office.

Every law passed by the legislature that is in contravention of the Constitution is not law and is void.

Anyone attempting to enforce legislation in contravention of the Constitution is enforcing usurpation, violating their oath of office.

Anyone obeying such legislation is aiding and abetting a crime by supporting the actions of those violating their oath of office.

Anyone supporting the election of a legislator that openly promises things that are not permitted by the Constitution is supporting fraud and the insertion of a criminal into an office of honor and trust. If someone promises you something they cannot lawfully provide, they’re either lying to you in order to solicit your vote or announcing publicly that they do not intend to adhere to the oath they swear; either way, voting for such a person is contemptible.

The solution for every one of the items I stated above is simple… Read the Constitution yourself and understand the job description of the employee you’re hiring with your vote. If you think something should be changed or added, support an amendment; that is the proper method for changing the rule of law. If you’re an American and you support anything else, then you’re a criminal and part of the problem we face today… what do you support?

    Your article is a reminder, that any well intended document, policy, law is only as good as the collective integrity of the chain of individuals we have in place to adhere to those (hopefully) well intended, goals. As we can easily observe, particularly in the present time, the breakdown in that chain starts at the highest levels, and both the integrity and the principal looses it’s intent even before there is any chance of implementing, any principled and fair law. I am 71 years of age and retired……although I’d never intended to ever “not” work……for when I was working I felt useful and productive, and in my case enjoyed my work so much I often wondered why my company was so generous to me, because working in the job I had was like going to a toy factory every day. Having said that, the company I worked with……at least at the very top….had noble goals of providing the best product on the market to customers it intended to serve with the highest integrity, and highest quality. They built processes into the organization that allowed employees at the very lowest pay level to influence the operation of the entire company. The process broke down on occasion because some individual in the chain……somewhere between the “intent” and the “execution” of some policy or procedure would find a loophole that could be exploited for a personal gain. The process and procedures were in place to deal with such internal greed or distortion(use your own word) but it took employees a long time to actually believe in the execution of……what we refer today, as whistleblowing……..but even then the company had a built-in process for evaluating its people from the lowest level of pay grade all the way to the CEO…….and in my opinion it was a very successful process that significantly improved moral, and therefore job satisfaction…..and therefore better customer service and productivity. This environment lasted for as many years as “Camelot” but changed abruptly as the leadership at the head of the company changed. When greed at the top became the order of the day, it demoralized everyone and very slowly, we lost the people……the best people…….moral and leadership declined and so did the ideals we had learned to believe in also abruptly, and summarily were taken away. That’s when myself and hundreds, if not thousands of folks left. We watched our beloved company go from a top 500 company to an obscure “penny stock” company…….all the while watching the new Harvard bean counter types lining their retirement and severance funds with millions of unearned dollars………..sound familiar. When integrity is removed from any well intended process, the process and its intended goal can only follow the path of failure. Such is the path America is on at the moment, for we have filled our halls of Government with individuals that in many instances, seek only the self-serving benefit of their position. Whatever system of checks-and-balances (the Constitution) we claim to be our guide, have been ignored and even modified to some deliberate distortion to convince the people that the modifications are somehow in their best interest…….and those without the backbone…..or those that don’t stay informed buy this distortion as if it were normal. It is so discouraging to me to watch television programming where reporters interview people on the street as well as on college campuses, asking the most basic questions about both current events and history. To listen to the responses is frightening, because the ignorance is overwhelming…… one recent interview, a college only a short distance from our Capital building……teaching political science…..asking random students to name just one US Senator…..and those they filmed were not able to do so. The leadership of this great Nation have betrayed all of us. Truth is, what can be sold. It doesn’t need to be truth, it only needs to be packaged that way…….and those……particularly the young……are so preoccupied with the “present” that they don’t have the tools emotionally to see that their lack of participation and ignorance of the political events around them are going to shape their lives well beyond today and tomorrow.

      Thank you for such a thoughtful and thought provoking comment to my article, Jim. I share your concern, as well as your observations regarding our Republic and our people. It is the very reason I write what I do and in the manner I do. It is going to be up to those of us left in our generations to ignite the passion of this generation in order to regain liberty for their future…not an easy task consider what so many of our generation have allowed to happen.

      I am attempting to provide a road map, such as it is, to give direction that must be taken if we’re to succeed in restoring our Republic but we must first remove the corruption that is tearing it down and the only focal point I can see that will accomplish that task is the oath of office.

      I pray that we can successfully restore integrity back into our government and reach this generation before everything is lost.

    Great post! I couldn’t agree more and I feel overwhelmed some days just trying to keep an eye on my representatives at the local, state and federal levels. Have taken the time to rest this Christmas season to restore my spiritual fortitude, physical health and endurance, and mental clarity. To all my Patriot Brothers and Sisters lets remember what the Great “I AM” prescribes for us as we enter a new year to do battle against the forces that are destroying our precious republic:
