In 1836, members of the unorganized and organized Militia faced 4,000 Mexican soldiers under General Santa Anna at a place called The Alamo. None of the Texas boys complained about men coming from Tennessee, Kentucky, or other places… no belly aching about turf or chain of command. Those men fortified their position and performed their duty to hold that mission at all costs and ALL paid the ultimate price, holding off that army for 13 days. The sacrifice of those brave men gave Texas time to raise an army to secure their liberty and independence from Mexico and today’s border.
I have been struggling in my mind for months trying to understand why people calling themselves Militia in America would subordinate themselves to politicians and officers that betrayed their oaths; allowing our enemies to infiltrate our land. Recently I have and continue to support a movement to deploy unorganized Militia from the Several States to our southern border in order to stop an invasion; an invasion that the governors of those Border States are apparently unwilling to stop. The first duty of a Governor of any state is to defend its sovereignty and the lives, liberty, and property of those within it… unless perhaps the allegiance of those governors is to a power other than the Constitution… such as globalism.
Let me be clear here… I believe that anyone sworn into the Executive office of a state that allows that state to be invaded is a traitor. Quibbling over whose responsibility the defense of the border falls to is irrelevant when the enemy is pouring through; the first order of business is to stop that flow and secure the border; once accomplished, pursuing the traitors that aided the enemy should be vigorously prosecuted until all the enemies of the people are vanquished.
If you’re stationed in a firebase and the enemy is breaching your outer defenses and storming past your defenses, what do you do? Wait? Transport them throughout the base so they can kill more of your forces? Provide them with ammunition so they can penetrate deeper? No… you repel those forces and secure the perimeter; either killing or capturing any that may have infiltrated.
We are being invaded by forces from another country; such an invasion is an act of war and yet our politicians are aiding the invaders, why? The Militias should not only be shoring up the border with barbed wire, mines, barriers, and other implements of war while arresting those that aided the invaders; instead they wait for those traitors to give them permission.
