The Word

Snohomish LakeI tend to avoid spiritual discussions for the most part. It always turns into a pissing match between unbelievers and believers, as well as infighting between people with different interpretations of the Bible; I make a concerted effort to avoid that strife.

Sometimes I can’t help myself and have something to say in spite of the turmoil created. This is one of those times…

John 1:1-14 (King James Version)

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

The same was in the beginning with God.

All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.

The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.

He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.

That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.

He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.

He came unto his own, and his own received him not.

But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”

Not once is the written word referenced here… only the Word of God that became flesh and dwelt among us. Yes, I realize I’m reading this from words on paper written by man, but the Spirit within me bears witness to the words I’m reading.

The words written by man on paper can be perverted and twisted, but the Word of the Spirit is untouchable by man’s avarice and deception.

John 14:22-26 (King James Version)

“Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?

Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father’s which sent me.

These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.

But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.”

Follow the guidance of the Spirit that came and dwelt within you when you first believed. He will lead you into all truth, not necessarily the words written down by man. The written word can be altered; the Word of that Spirit in you cannot and will discern the lies.

Consider how much the churches of America have changed with every new “version” of the scriptures. We’re taught in our churches that the scriptures are the “inerrant and perfect Word of God”; if they’re inerrant and perfect, what is this need of revisions about?

In my opinion only Yahshua, the Word that was made flesh and dwelt among us, is the inerrant and perfect Word of God; not the words of man written on paper, unless the Spirit within believers bears witness to the truth of those words.

Incidentally, the Spirit that dwells within me is the same that dwells within every follower of Yahshua… there is only one; isn’t it remarkable!

  4. Could it be that the Word is what “scientists” call “String-Theory”, and liken to the notes of a symphony? And that the “God-particle” is not some sub-atomic portion of matter, but the actual “echo” of the Designer of Intelligence, whose voice brought-forth all Matter/Energy/Space/Time, (MEST) ?

For, if the entirety of all MEST is simply a result of happenstance and without any intent or forethought, how can someone truly immersed in the pursuit of “truth” deny the obvious degree of design involved in the “laws-of-physics”, (laws of nature), they insist are merely the result of the “accident” we inhabit, while denying that the event they attribute with being the origin of said “laws-of-physics” is, by the same definition, a supernatural event?!

For, those who would have us believe that there is no “Creator” who spoke the “universe” (a single spoken sentence) into being, would have us also believe that their quantum physics, which also tend to follow some level of “specified complexity”, are simply the result of random forces.

Just as Mr. Mick has written above, “The Word” is not simply what we might read in some collection of available works which were compiled in pursuit of political unification some 1700 years ago, but He is the one who brought the world we reside on into being at the beginning!

I earned a certificate in quantum physics and mechanical applications. I’m also an ordained minister. I have to say I have come to the similar conclusions. I mean with sacred geometry and frequency/vibrations,, I’m not sure how anyone denies anymore…especially when you see what effect different frequencies have on water droplets. Research has even shown that when tuned to 432 hz, songs can heal dna… now if you go to the story of enoch (specifically the removed/banned book of enoch), it speaks off enochian tones that if sounded give man the ability to invoke archangels for many reasins, one being, man’s protection. No wonder it was removed…it returned the power to man and NOT to the church as a dependent for something that they cannot give. In this time of pseudo Christians and false prophets, it is refreshing to hear both you and Mr. Mick are paying attention. Keep up the good work guys.
