Do Americans truly Celebrate Independence on the Fourth of July?

Recently, in discussions with some members of the organized Militia who will remain unnamed, people admitted what I always suspected; the primary concern of many if not most members is the welfare of their family and the protection of their possessions, not the natural rights of the community at large. I was told that units will not go to the border to defend the republic unless they received a paycheck and state support for doing so. Those candid conversations pretty much showed me the true state of freedom in America as we come around to another July 4th

Frankly, I believe the citizens of the corporation need to be honest and stop celebrating Independence Day; most have no idea what transpired on that day or care; today it’s just another excuse for parties, socializing with friends and family, and increasingly pathetic fireworks. Most citizens could care less about such intangible things as liberty, independence, self-reliance, personal responsibility, or accountability to our Creator above man. For the first 50 years at least it was a tradition in America to read the Declaration of Independence to the community, our families, and even commemorate the day around the world through our embassies and consulates; but not today.

Since government under the Constitution was effectively dissolved by the actions of Congress on March 27, 1861, when the South left the Union in disgust and removed the quorum to lawfully do business, the great experiment in liberty has been systematically and methodically dismantled by our conquerors. Abiding by the oligarchy’s truancy laws and dutifully sending our children into their public school system, we have allowed each generation of Americans to be taught less about the principles of America. If you ask anyone graduating from a public school about the principles of the American Revolution, you’ll get a blank stare and some ignorant answers based upon propaganda, not truth. On this July 4th, we’ll see a foreign flag flown over buildings by a corrupt and malevolent corporation that has gained both control and ownership over most of America, including her people.

The fact is, the revolution that began on April 19, 1775, was dissolved just before the War against State’s Rights on March 27, 1861; America has faded into the fog of history ever since, at least the America that was forged in the blood of the American Revolutionary War. What we have today is a counterfeit and after 154 years, one that doesn’t even remotely resemble what was meant to be. So on this July 4, 2015, instead of firing off fireworks and firing up the barbeque… perhaps it’s time to mourn for the destruction of the greatest promise of liberty the world has ever known; we’re certainly not free or independent today.

If Americans mean to be free; if the generations who still understand and believe in the America Republic begun on that glorious day in 1776, wish for their posterity to experience the promise and freedom America was formed to provide, they must leave their gilded cages, throw off the false security they’ve grown accustomed to, and pay the price our forefathers paid in blood. Liberty isn’t something that is just handed to you, it is something you must take for yourself and preserve; the cost is high, both to acquire it and to maintain it. From what I’ve seen to date and the support I see for true American patriots today, the future of liberty in America is in serious doubt.
